There have been some major renovations to streamline the displays downstairs. There's another museum, Old Town, upstairs. It will be open for tours and private parties, too.

We finally found this place as it is in a row of shops. Unfortunately it wasn't open until May. Be sure to check before you try to see it.

This was a nice museum with working N, HO, and O gauge train sets and lots of train pictures but no real trains. It is good for a 20-30 minute stroll and we did it while waiting for the Texarkana Ghost Tour at 9 PM...More

This museum is relatively new. It does not contain any full-size trains but it does contain minature trains and lots of memorobelia from the earily train era in Texarkana. There are fun things for children to see and do.My grandson especially enjoyed the old train...More
