Medium Level Adventure Cave. Self-guided. You are provided with a briefing, a torch and a helmet as you descend into the deepest cave in the area. There is no electric lighting and along the way you climb vertical ladders, scramble over rocks and in some places, walk on the cave floor. Not as decorated as some of the other caves but also has some stunning cave formations. For opening hours outside the holiday and peak seasons please contact Calgardup Cave 97577422

Enjoyable self fuided tour of an interesting cave. Took about an hour, although could be done quicker if you wanted to rush. Not terribly difficult and most people with reasonable fitness would be able to get through as long as they were willing to clamber...More

This cave isn't as readily advertised like the other caves in the area, so it is relatively quiet, which was a good thing, because my husband and I could explore the cave on our own. You are given a hardhat and a torch, and you...More

We chose to do the Giants Cave simply because we wanted something interactive but not massively challenging. We were given two torches, two helmets and quite a few helpful instructions. The walk/climb/rock ramble was a lot of fun and well worth the small entrance fee

Love Giants cave for a fun adventure for all ages and stages. Everything from big open caverns to small squeezy ladder climbs. Sure to thrill.

Giants Cave in Boranup forest is the best value cave experience for families. The self guided caving experience is ideally suited to families who want to have a less formulaic cave experience where you can move around at explore own pace. We took children ages...More

So glad that you enjoyed your visit. We love hearing about peoples experiences in Giants Cave. For some it is a little daunting and they have stepped out of their comfort zone but the exhilaration they feel when they have accomplished getting over their fear...More

We've gone down quite a few commercial style caves in this area, all with the pretty lights and informative guides but this time decided to go down Giants Cave. Giants Cave is a large (hence its name) cave that has only had minimal enhancements to...More

Hi Scobie P, glad that you enjoyed your visit and thank you for the fantastic review. Because Giants Cave is a 'through' cave and you exit from a different place to where you entered, it can often feel like you are the only ones there!...More
