The Rogers Historical Museum serves not only Rogers and Bentonville but all...

The Rogers Historical Museum serves not only Rogers and Bentonville but all of Northwest Arkansas, a rapidly growing region with a rich heritage and a vibrant entrepreneurial spirit.  The RHM preserves that heritage and shares that spirit.  The recipient of many state and national awards, the Rogers Historical Museum is among the fewer than five percent of approximately 17,500 museums in the nation accredited by the American Association of Museums.

The Rogers Historical Museum is three blocks or so down from the Daisy Airgun Museum on the same side (the west side) of the street. There are many neat exhibits. My two favorites are: (a) the old newspaper stories which have been reproduced on audio tape, and (b) three rooms that recreate the past (one is a reproduction of an... More

The place is great, small but informative. You start with police history, original jail, pictures and more. Then more information on the towns streets with store front and pictures. you can the take a tour of an old house that was one of the first.

Rogers Historical Museum (RHM) is a great place to stop in Rogers. I enjoyed touring the Hawkins House and learning about the history of how people in Rogers lived back then. The museum has a great exhibit of First Street, Benton County crime stories, and hands-on activities in grandpa's workout and grandma's attic. Great place for a fun family-friendly outing.... More

The museum had several exhibits about history, including some especially for kids. I thought the most impressive thing about the museum, by far, was the restored house that you can walk through, with many of the items that the family would have used. If you only have time for a short stop, I would definitely see the house first.

This little city museum is very cute and well thought out. It is free, but they request donations. Most of the "items" they have appear to be reproductions. They did have a nice extra exhibit when we went, containing 10 antique crazy quilts. This really made the visit worthwhile.

We are glad you stopped by the museum and enjoyed your visit. I did want to let you know that very few of the objects on exhibit are reproductions. We pride ourselves on putting together exhibits rich in historical information and real historical objects. I apologize if you thought the exhibits contained reproductions, I do hope that with this information... More

Stopped in on a cold day. Greeted by very friendly people at front. Free admission. The museum is pretty simple and doesn't take more than hour to view. Several displays such as attic, old jail cell, store fronts and other police related items. Had a artwork display of mills.
