Little Petra, is not visited by the bus tours, making it pleasant and quiet. A short walk through the area, no gate charge to enter. If you have time and enjoyed Petra, make this side trip. Again pleasant and quiet.

It's not close to Petra so you will need a car or to get a taxi there. Taxi's aren't cheap considering the place isn't that big, but if you have spare time and cash (I arrived from Amman at 10:30, checked into my hotel and...More

Litte Petra is an amazing place to visit! It's not as popular as Petra, and some people never heard about it, and yet, it is as gorgeous! I had this unique experience, by luck, to visit this site all by myself!!! There were no other...More

Little Petra supposedly was used to conduct business and was kind of their marketplace so people wouldn't know where the actual city was. Bearing that in mind, it's not as grand as impressive as the actual city and not as well preserved. I think little...More

Little Petra, despite being part of the bigger Petra site, is located over 10 kilometres away and needs a separate taxi ride to be accessed. If you have the Jordan Pass or the main Petra ticket, entry is free. It has its own mini Siq...More

I visited it before seeing Petra and should be done this way. It is beautiful in itself but much smaller than Petra.

You don't need a guide for Little Petra it is only a couple of hundred metre long. There are locl guides just after the car park if you really want one. It is far to far to walk to Petra itself, took us 15 mins on the coach.
