Left part, faced to sea, is narrow with many cold (mountain?) streams, so the water in the sea is clean but with a cold stripes. The beach is mostly sandy and a stonish too. After the middle of the beach the water is warmer. Right part of the beach is wider and more spacious. The renting price for the umbrella and two sunbeds is the same for all beaches, 500 Lek or about $5 for the day. Along all the beach there is minimal decline entrance in the sea. No ATMs at all at Queparo, so be prepared with cash.
A lot of bars and restoraunts are along the seaside. No changing cabins I found, no shower at the beach

Qeparo is a hidden gem on the Albanian coast, a beach that leaves you speechless with its natural beauty. The water is crystal clear, creating a relaxing and soothing atmosphere. The shoreline is dotted with small pebbles, making it the perfect spot for those who want to enjoy a peaceful day at the beach. The view from the beach is stunning, with mountains descending towards the sea and greenery surrounding every corner.

There are too many cold water streams coming from under the cliff at the beginning of the beach on the left side for my taste.
Go a bit further towards the middle of the beach, a bit further than 'Riviera': finer gravel and sand, slower decline into the sea, steady warm water.

Narrow strip of sand with lots of beach umbrellas. Very popular with families, small kids riding around on rented bikes seems to be an evening event. Only two restaurants of any credit. No bank/ atm, so have lots of cash if your planning on staying. The sea isn’t the clearest and l suspect, due to the smell, some drainage flowing.

Beautiful place, mountains behind and turquoise sea in front, umbrella cost in the front row is 7 euros per day, excellent fish-based food everywhere, generally we spent 15 euros each for a meal (but they also make excellent hotdogs for 2 euros). Quiet place for families, no discos. On the beach instead of the classic coconut, they sell excellent figs and very fresh berries

Queparo Beach is the beach below the ancient village of Queparo, located on the mountain.
The beach has a crystal clear sea and is quite crowded, especially in August, but in June it is very pleasant. On the beach there are very hospitable restaurants that cook meat or fish delicacies.
You can stay all day, and the umbrellas have really modest prices.
The stop for a bath is absolutely recommended.

We had been here 15 years ago. At the time the beach was empty, I only remember a hut to provide some shade.
Now they have created a promenade, there are restaurants and bars serving the area.
During this period the beach is liveable, there is no loud music and the umbrellas are not attached to each other.
The characteristic of the beach are certainly the sources of fresh and cold water that come directly from the beach and flow into the sea.
This creates currents of cold water, but in some ways pleasant if the outside temperature is very high.
At the end of the beach there is a spring where you can dive and experience the thrill...
The beach is pebbly but after two meters the seabed is sandy.
Do you think that late August and September is the best time to enjoy this type of beach.
Local accommodations vary greatly in both services and prices, but by searching carefully or through acquaintances you can find something good and at acceptable prices.
We think we won't spend so much time on our next visit here
