I liked this part of Korce although I didn't get the chance to stay long - cobbled streets with lots of different restaurants and coffee houses and vendors selling their wares. A bit touristy perhaps but it still has plenty of charm and a lot to see.

Millions of dollars were poured into the area to refurbish it as a place of interest for tourists. The plan worked, tourists--and locals too--the backbone of a host of shops and restaurants. The main square is the beating heart of the place. The place used to be known for selling goats. Goat may appear on a menu or two but the restaurant industry is king of commence in the Old Bazaar these days.

The central market is well renovated and very lively due to all the terraces filled with people. A few steps outside there is still a lot to do and all buildings are very run down.

More authentic than a lot of bazaar areas, this has some lovely old buildings and cobbled stone streets. Well worth a visit if in the area. Just wander, have a coffee and soak up the atmosphere.

A combination of Korca's amazing old city architecture and modern novelties would probably be the best description for the amazing city square. The old bazaar has recently been renovated and has regained its old glory, thus becoming of on the most attractive tourist destinations in Albania. The atmosphere in the square is always lovely, even in the times of the pandemic. If you visit Korca without seeing its main square, then you missed its greatest gem! All recommendations!

Very cozy place. Traditional streets and a lot f traditional shops with local products.

The only problem during this time no music aloud! You only eat or drink and go away!

I last visited the bazaar in Korça about eight years ago and was quite surprised to see the amazing changes. What I last saw was very worn and run down. Now, the bazaar area is full of small cafés and shops. It is a bit touristy - but there are few foreign tourists, so the place still feels quite genuine.

This is a great place to visit, especially in the evening when the bars and restaurants are in full swing. If you are into tourist shopping, daytime is OK too.

When I first visited Korçë ten years ago, this was a traditional market that was visited by people from far and wide across the country for its authenticity. Now, sadly, the hustle and bustle, the stalls of shoes, pots and pans, trinkets, second hand clothes etc, have gone to make way for a gentrification which offers coffee shops, bars, a modern shopping mall and not much more apart from locked up shop fronts that the locals can’t afford. Very sad to my mind.
