A must see of world archeology, and Albanian history. Amazing, fascinating, breathtaking. It gives you that sensation you are back in time. Great nature, great flora, great fauna... don't miss the little water turtles in the ponds around the amphitheatre. The price?...a ridiculous 5 euros!...More

Starting with the trip from Saranda that is very nice, Butrint is just amazing, surrounded by lake and sea in very strategic location. Full of history. Really really MUST!

And you can be too. It's an easy 40-minute bus ride from the center of Saranda that costs a mere 100 Lek. Nice old German-made buses depart Saranda as well as Butrint 30 minutes past every hour. Entrance fee is 700 Lek. Caesar was here...More

I imagine you'll have the opportunity to book on board your cruise. If not the tour companies will almost certainly be awaiting the ship at the port to make the most of the visiting tourists. Enjoy!
