A place to visit when on Albania. We came from Greece. The roads are cerainly thrvfirst part in Albania very well. After a couple of kms it chanches but still manageble. The park itself is a gem with meandering waterways and nice scenery.

I recently visited Sarande and Butrint on a short trip to Albania and Butrint certainly did not disappoint.
Sadly Albania is still a very poor country, but tourism is starting to boost the economy.

You will require 2-4 hours to see all place. Lots of steps and take water bottle with you.
There is little coffee shop next to castle half way in park.
