This is a quaint little town with wonderful historical value. Be sure to tour the courthouse and surrounding grounds. The staff is very friendly & knowledgeable.

This is one amazing place. You turn a corner on a country road and WOW!! Awesome courthouse, jail, school. It's like going back in time. Perfect family trip and wonderful for the history lover in your family. Go check it out.

My husband loves history and this little town was really well preserved. For a small fee you can tour all the buildings with a guide. Beautifully restored courthouse.

My husband, two tween girls and I enjoyed visiting these historical sites, especially the courthouse. The whole thing took about 1 hour to see, so it was the perfect add on to our Lake Charles excursion.
