Nice education center that kids would find interesting and helpful. Nice simple hands on exhibits that peak your interest in the wildlife of the area.

Can see elk almost everyday close to the road. So watch for cars to be parked along the road and sometimes stopped in the road as people get out to take pictures.

We came away refreshed with a few sticks of elk jerky, and other items, plus, valuable information about the natural surroundings and Elk relocation, and some local history of Ponca. Interactive kids and adult exhibits. Moderate space packed with lots of resources, and nice gift shop. Limited Seating to rest and watch indoor displays & outdoor birding. Immaculate, well maintained... More

Lots of "stuffed" animals. Good information on the local elk and where to see them. We did go back to where they said in the evening and saw several elk. Definitely worth the stop.

Very nicely done education center. There are many displays and quite a few displays encourage you to handle them. There's a collection of plaster cast of tracks and pelts from the local wild life among other things.

Interesting place for basis education on elk and other local wildlife. Unfortunately, when we were there, the female on duty was more interested in flirting with a park ranger than answering our questions. Her comments were curt and tone did not invite further inquiries. This does have plenty of hands on for children to experience.

The center is nice and they have a good variety of things to look at inside including paw prints and stuffed elk. The river runs behind the center and there are birdfeeders out back with nice colorful birds to take pictures of. They tell you when and where to look for elk but we did not see any on our... More
