Something to learn about the place and its history. There are some memoir and things display to look for. Just worth to visit if you are around the area.

The museum is not open the outside is not a weeds there are trains large freight trains going by every 15 to 20 minutes. I walk down main street not only is it dead with all of the buildings boarded up like a lot of small towns but they are ripping it down. Would've loved to of seen the museum... More

I was very disappointed in the lack of luster overall appearance of the museum and the seemingly disinterest of the hostess/caretaker that gave all outward appearances of not careing if the visit was enjoyable or not.... we left!

Lots of history in this area, and this is a good place to get started on knowing what is important. I always take visitors by.

We visited the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Museum as part of the Arkansas 150th Civil War passport program. The museum took 45 minutes to tour and we were two of four people in the museum on a Saturday. The war exhibits were interesting and I especially enjoyed seeing the Sunbeam Girl. As my title states, visit if you're in Pine Bluff,... More

The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Historical Museum is located in the old Cotton Belt railroad depot. The exhibits are changed on a regular basis because they have so much in storage. There is a large exhibit on the Civil War and the battle in the streets of the city in 1863. The company flag of the Jefferson Guards, a local Confederate unit... More
