An interesting ruin with several remains of the buildings from the 12th and 14th century. There are artists impressions of the buildings before becoming ruins! You can download an audio tour from the English Heritage website.

Fantastic ruins with helpful information plaques. Better on a dry day as walking on grass is the norm.

Worth popping in if your passing. Don't make a day of it as it's only a small place. Nice to have this kind of history in the village.

For a freebie,, not bad for an hour or so to visit,could do with a tea room on site tho , which would make money for the place,,on the whole well worth a look!
