This is an enjoyable and learning experience. Actually found more in the "dig" here that at the Crater of Diamonds State Park! Worth the time to stop.

It's ok and interesting. While we were there shopping,I had some questions about some items. The store help was busy, people were coming in and the other Lady would not get off her cell phone. It was rude and cost the village a pretty good...More

Souvenir shop expensive.mdid not look for "planted" arrowheads or go to museum as there was a charge. The digging for minerals was in a bucket planted with a few minerals. Big disappointment

I was pleasantly surprised by this attraction. It is an actual archeological site. Indian mounds had been excavated. Artifacts were displayed with interesting information.

Sweet little place - I felt uneasy about digging for STUFF in ancient burial grounds, but was informed members of the tribe had come back to bless the diggings. I loved seeing the mounds, and my son liked the digging. We didn't find much but...More

This is BORING in comparison to the Crater of Diamond. It's a generic compared to name brand. It's like farmer Bill saw how much the Crater of Diamonds was making and decided to give it a try! Highly don't recommend!!!!

We were very excited to see a Indian grounds as we've seen others in various states. This was a total waste of time and money. It was not well preserved, not run by knowledgeable people, and a poor example of ancient Indian grounds. The "dig...More

Granted, there are a couple of interesting artifacts in the "museum" (one very small room), but not worth the entry fee. A plowed field is available for digging artifacts (mostly small rocks). The artifact mounds are big holes in the ground with skeletal remains and...More

Super friendly staff & a nice, small museum. The burial grounds were interesting and educational and we had a lot of fun at the surface dig site. We also ended buying a bucket and "finding" the treasures. Kids LOVED it!

How much does it cost for the dig site? Are there any other cost with going to the Village?

The pamphlet says adults are $8 and kids are $4 but it doesn't specify what that includes. I remember when we went into the trading post the buckets for them to dig through were $15-$20 if I remember right.
