We decided to go here late in the evening. This is because it gets jammed packed and so evening time allows for a more intimate setting. The geothermally water poured fourth hissing and steaming. The first pool was around 85 degrees and so it decreases towards the play pools where younger family members would love to play. The upper pools... More

Place is full of people mostly families with little kids. The shallow pools that are full of little kids are cool enough to swim but too shallow and cramped. The deep pool is small and practically boiling. There was no space to lay down. All the patches of grass were either covered in tents or dirty.

20°34'7.42" 99°41'32.53"W The three balnearios (aqua parks) that I mostly visit in Tecozautla are: El Arenal, El Geiser and La Cruz. All three are really great but each has it’s specialty. El Arenal is the best for: Hydro massage, food, the hotel El Geiser is the best for: The water (sulphuric), the tirolesa (zip line), variety of pools, hotels (3)... More

We enjoyed out stay at the geyser: Top: the geyser itself with the steam room next to it, the staff is really friendly, the food and drinks very convenient and good. Minus: people with clothes in the pools and unfortunately taking care of body treatments (peeling..) staff should definitely be stricter on this point. Noone wants to get into a... More

Eventhough it is a park that takes advantage of the geiser´s water to have swimming pools with warm water, and it is amazing to feel the hot water going out of the earth, It is not enough on weekends, there are a lot of people. To know the geiser not in its natural form is worth enough to get there.... More

We went with a group - 2 couples (in their 30s) and one 4 year old. Get there early (we arrived at 8:30 am and there were MANY people already there) as people camp there overnight and you will want to find a good place to claim as your own. There are no lockers, so be careful what you bring... More

It was my first time to visit spa in Mexico. Steam bath was good for me. I didn't go to hot tub but this steam bath was enough for me. It is not short distance from D.F it took 3hrs but it was good experience to us.

The highlight is the steam-baths, which consist of steam blasted out of a controlled pipe towards some open grottos and pathways. For full effect, go at night, when it is cooler, and the location is dimly lit. The steam surrounds you to the point that you have to feel your way around. As you move closer to the source, the...
