Nice place to be. You can go by vehicle or walk or some were even cycling up to the hill! Mornings and evenings would be good time to go.

I visited with my family on 10th feb 2019 with lot of expectation about the place in mind. As the place is known for Sant Tukaram Maharaj favourite place where he wrote all his spiritual poems." Vrukshvali Amha Soyari Vanchari " . The trust is constructing new temple of Sant Tumkram Maharaj. It seems to be very huge temple and with lot of amenities for staying of visitors including parking, But the trust has forgot the words "Vrukshvalii Amha Soyari Vanchari" The Nandurkhi tree and Vad tree were alone standing in RCC construction. I feel very sad seeing all this development on the top of the mountain where Sant Tukaram Mharaj had spend lot of time with trees and nature.

Very few folks know about this location which makes it a good place to visit during monsoon. It's access road is freshly paved and of very good quality. Nice and short climb with few steep gradients which is really enjoyable for the cyclists/runners. Quite a few runners/cyclists/walkers can be seen in the morning (especially during the morning hours).

There is currently only a small temple at the top. Construction of a much bigger and a grander temple is going on and it is expected to complete in 2021 (crowd should be still sparse upto that point). There is only a roadside kind of shop/restaurant which serves basic things - tea, vadapav etc.

Overall - Pleasant visit during monsoon without crowd.

It is very approachable from Talegaon side or from Dehu side (via Cantonment area)

It is around 5-6 km from Dehu gaon. Saint Tukaram used to ocme here on top for meditation and find inner peace. W can imagine how peaceful must be here at that era ! Avoid coming here on weekends and holidays as plenty of rush and you have to park vehicle well before actual temple and face traffic jam. Road is bit difficult to drive but view from here is magnificent. They are renovating temple nowdays so some inconvenience.

I think it's not a good place as well as popular too. No crowd at all day also it is located around 9-10 km from Talegaon railway station. No facility for going on dongar it is around 2-3 km distance from base road. The attraction is only a template over their. If you want to visit this place keep your car or bike with you. Avoid to go in evening time as it is dangerous for couples as it is located in wild area.
