Great visit, lovely swim - enjoyable
We very much enjoyed our visit to these waterfalls. The guide that we had was helpful and our taxi driver came with us as well. It’s a short moped ride from the main car park to each of these and then a short walk (10 mins) down to the waterfalls. Great spot to swim in and feel the water coming down on you, its incredible to feel the sheer weight of the falls and even what looks like such a “small” stream of water! Would recommend to anyone visiting Lombok, we stayed on the west side of Lombok and therefore this made sense / was quicker to visit than waterfalls on the north side of the mountain.

Easily accessible day trip out of Kuta to see multiple, beautiful waterfalls
Beautiful waterfalls. Not too crowded when we went. Saw lots of monkeys. The warung we went to just outside the park entrance was great and even accepted credit cards. No need for guide for the first two waterfalls, but could be helpful for the second 2. If you're up for trying to find the last two waterfalls on your own (no guide), you only need to pay to see 1 waterfall, because no one checks tickets at all once past the main entrance and then you're totally free to explore the park. Also, I want to quickly address the many complaints online about the higher price for foreigners, but that's very typical for any national parks or historical sites across the globe...residents, students, seniors, etc, usually get a discount.

    Most memorable trip to Lombok
The views were amazing we enjoyed the cool waterfall on a hot day and took so many pictures! We were on a trip to Lombok with family and friends on June 2024. Our tour guide Mr Omar were very helpful making our every trip a breeze one. He make sure we were well prepared of any activities and give us guidance ahead. He is very bubbly and polite and has sense of humour. He would tell the background stories of previous Lombok and also on a karaoke if you want to! So,if you are planning to go to any waterfalls in Lombok, I suggest that you might want to get yourself well equipped bringing a trekking walking stick, a hat, proper gear and proper shoes and also extra clothing. Please look for Mr Omar the patience tour guide in your future trip to Lombok.

Loved our Guide Emy and the waterfalls were breathtaking
You will have a moderate walk around 30 minutes to see the water fall. Steps included not for the faint hearted. Beautiful once you get there and amazing phots to be taken. You get to visit 2 waterfalls and you can swim (females will need to wear a one piece costume out of respect. You are provided with a guide and they will walk with you the whole way and explain your surroundings. We had a fantastic and informative guide a young male called Emy. Well worth the walk and visit

Pay for the extra falls!! Definitely worth it!
A great day out. We paid to go to the 4 waterfalls which was 100rp each. This was well worth it. It’s a good 2 hour loop to all 4 and you need to have good shoes and able to walk/ scramble over rocks. We preferred the three smaller falls as they were quieter, we had them pretty much to ourselves. Our guide was awesome and really knowledgeable. Bring mosquitoe repellent as there is one section which is a bit buggy. This is by far one of the best things we’ve done on Lombok.

Fantastic Nature with a fantastic guide
That was fantastic. The nature is amazing. You can see 2 waterfalls for 90K or all 4 for 120K. The other 2 are worth it in my opinion. And it's not at all crowded. Our guide was really, really nice and good. I think you do need him to take the much better route for all 4. You could also find the two hidden waterfalls without the guide, but it's more comfortable with one. And he was super, super nice. He told us a lot and took lots of nice photos of us. I definitely should have tipped him. Unfortunately, I only had a 100K note left. It was too much for me at the time. Afterwards, I was really annoyed with myself, because he was just really, really nice and would have deserved 100K himself. I'm really sorry. I think by European standards, a 20K-50K tip is totally OK. Considering that you had a really nice person by your side for roughly 2 hours. Who could also tell you a lot about nature and the plants. He wasn't pushy at all and gave us enough time for ourselves. Thank you again. S&F

We went with a guide which charged us 70k rp per pax for the first 2 waterfalls. There are also motorbike services to both waterfalls if you don't want to walk. Benang Stokal is very easy to get to but wasn't very pretty. There are almost 200 steep steps to reach Benang Kelambu but it is very worth it because it was so beautiful.

Definitely a must do! One of the most beautiful waterfalls I have been to. The 2 mains one cost 90k and if you also want to visit the other 2 it’s an additional 30k and you have to go with a guide.

We just visited the main 2 as we didn’t want a guide and wanted to take our time. They were super easy to find and there were barely (max 10) people there.

Flip flops are fine but just take your time and go slowly.

Wow wow wow! This was amazing! We booked a private driver through our hotel or organised admission, guides etc. we took the scooter ride option to the start as one of our group was carrying a leg injury and so glad we did.
This is not a formed path but a jungle track. Lots of ups and downs tree roots and stream crossings. brilliant! And the waterfalls just exceeded every expectation we had!
This would be a must on Lombok!

Wear sneakers or closed in shoes and take a change of clothes, don’t wear
A bikini as one the waterfalls is sacred and it’s not allowed.

Ps have lunch at the last restaurant on the left, food was Devine.

We got a driver from Senggigi and headed out to Setokel and kelambu waterfalls. Was about an hour or so drive in some quite busy traffic (glad we didn’t ride there). Easy and friendly service in their office, explained could do two or four waterfalls. We chose the two and it cost us 90,000 each. Our guide was Adi. He was lovely and so helpful, holding my hand sometimes when it was slippery! Was fairly easy walk to first waterfall, although there are those slippery and steep steps to deal with, just need to take it slow and easy! Lots of school kids there on a Saturday and they wanted to take lots of photos with us, we felt like we were famous!!! Waterfall was very pretty. They we walked to the second water fall, lots more steps for this one, a bit hard for me (mid 50’s, little over weight and dodgy hip!!), but did it. Second one was very impressive and so beautiful. You could swim in water hole if you wanted, but we didn’t. Of course you must dress modestly and their were a few ladies in rashie and boardies enjoying a swim. Then the walk back! When we got up to the top of the stairs we decided to motorbike back to the main car park. We paid 25,000 each. It’s a bit of a rough ride but felt safe. So glad we went.

Benang Klambu waterfall for me was a very worth visit destination, even it was very far from the downtown / central of Mataram. It took 1,5 hours to go there, but the quality of the view was 5 stars. It was trully like world class destination. Advice: bring your change clothes there, because you definetely had to shower down from waterfall
