This is another beautiful Thai beach and I won't repeat all of the glowing descriptions already on here. The only suggestion I would make is that if you would like to swim then do so at high tide as when the tide is out you...More

We stayed in the Dhusit Thani beach resort and loved the beach. The sea is very warm and clean and you have lots at great restaurants on the Beach that are unbeatable for the sunsets! Don’t usually go to the same location twice but will...More

This is one of the most beautiful beaches. The beach is nice and broad at low tide and it runs very gradually towards the sea. In addition, the structure of the sand is such that it is a wonderfully compact beach, where you do not...More

Very nice, peaceful sandy beach. It is not overcrouded by people, you can enjoy long walks, view on longtail boats and beautiful sea colour. But, very often there are lot of rocks in the water so you just cannot swim.

Klong Muang beach is vastly differ not to the dirty, overcrowded beach at Ao Nang. Here, you’ll find beautiful white sand, relatively clear water and no crowds.

Love the tranquility of this beach in the day with a few longtail boats parking in the shallow water. There's a row of local (hygienic) eateries and massage parlours along the beach and there're live bands and cool bars which came alive at night and...More

My hotel (Dusit Thani) was literally on this beach front, nice beach, clean, you could take a stroll for a long time if you wanted, nice soft sand, just a nice beach to relax

It is much less crowded than Ao nang beach. Sand is soft but at low tide, if you want to walk further out, you need to wear slippers as there are rocky portions. Great sunset view available at this beach. Lots of affordable beach side...More

You will get a chance to experience the Khlong Muang beach if you stay at the Dusit Thani or Sofitel resorts at Klong Muang. Ao Nang beach and city centre are a bit far away. This beach is quiet and not very busy with tourists...More

It doesn't have the imposing instagramable rocks and cliffs that beaches like railay offer but the sand is softer and the water clearer. Keep walking right from Dusit Thani and you'll come across a selection or great bars and restaurants. We also booked a longboat...More

My friend and I walked along this stretch of the beach every day and there was no signs indicating it was private. So I can't say whether it is or not. What I can say is that there are not many tourists here so you won't... More

Unless you plan to go far, I strongly advice to take scooter. It is cheap and the fun is much much bigger! We took scooters to drive to temple, that is on the top of mountain (can't remember name now), it was about 25 km... More
