Interesting for someone from another completely different part of the world to come and see the place and how people were cleaning, maintaining and praying. It is more interesting to visit other Buddha sites in the area as well.

The place is well maintained. The sleeping Buddha statue is the longest in Southeast Asia. Liked the place because of the wind and calmness.

Place is big, but many stray dog does make it difficult for me to walk and look around. The have cafe and stall for anyone who who want to take rest.

The famous sleeping/reclining Buddha is the biggest in South East Asia with 40m in length. It is known that the ashes of the dead are actually placed and kept underneath the Buddha.

Situated 30mins from Kota Bharu town, very peaceful place to visit the temple and Buddha monuments. The place is well kept even Kota Bharu is a capital of Islamic city. You will amaze with the sleeping buddha statue.
