Marari beach is a nice beach for a walk, but not for swimming as it's not a tourist beach that is patrolled and the waves are quite rough. There aren't any beach cafes or bars along the beach.

Athough we didn't stay here we found it on our beach walks and as our hotel had no alcohol licence we stayed each day for lunch and a cold beer. (We probably weren't supposed to but nevermind that). The lunches were really tasty and the setting attractive, just behind the extensive beach.

Marari beach is a ver long beach and you can easily get your own shot. It's also very clean compare to many other beaches we been to.

Enjoy watching the giant sea eagles swooping down for crabs in the surf... enjoy the warm sea, even at sunset... enjoy the fact that you will have a lot of space to yourself

This is largely a fishermen's beach - lots of boats and people fishing from the shore. Yes, there are areas where the fishermen use the beach as a loo, but if you haven't a loo at home what else can you do? Just be careful where you walk! It is wonderful to be able to stroll for miles and enjoy... More

Personally I liked allapuzza beach more than Marari beach, but marari beach is surrounded with coconut trees, so it adds extra beauty. Nice beach to visit!

This place is amazing... We visited during late morning and evening hours and the experience is good. Out of the two beaches in allepy this one is recommended because the other one is not good. This beach was clean and I would recommend you come here and see the sunset...we sit here for 2 hours just watching the sun goes... More

Nice yellow sand beach easily accessible from our hotel, The Xandari Pearl. A few cafes/restaurants on the beach. Swimming is possible but the sea can be rough at times and the beach slopes steeply into the water so care is needed. Good for a sunset stroll.

Lovely beach, in great condition! Had a very relaxing day and a tasty lunch at "coffee days". Definitely worth a trip if in Allepey!
