To wander among these ancient stones with only spider and howler monkeys as company is magical. I admit we had a guide -- very informative, gentle, lovely. It is not as extensive (yet) as many of the ruins further north in Yucatan, but the jungle...More

Close to Chetumal and easy to reach with rental car. The road conditions are pretty good. The site is in the middle of jungles.

Very interesting and nice place in the jungle. Unfortunately the road is not very good, but driving slowly, will word the trip.

This is a nice and compact site. It is cool in the morning and there is lots of shade. Two hours max to see it and then on adjacent sites.

4th Century Mayan ruins in the raw. Well worth the long coach (air conditioned) trip with a very knowledgeable guide & driver! Great photograph opportunities and climbs to the top of the temples - Great!!! Indian Jones - eat your heart out!

Well worth the visit if you love learning about Mayan history and walking through ruins of pyramids, plazas and lush greenery. Off the beaten path and out of the way, the crowds are low and you can climb the steep pyramids if you dare for...More
