Take the steps or the cable car to the top. Great views. There is a sort of shrine on the top. Lots of monkeys and lots of monkey poo. Could be better at the top and certainly if you do the climb it could be cleaner. Worth a look.

You have to a cable car to get to this attraction. Once you reach the top, you will be able to see the whole of Hatyai and see a lot of attractions here like Budda statues, lighthouses and old buildings here. Very nice place. I would recommend people to come here.

When visiting the Songkhla Beach, take some time to visit this Tang Kuan Hill by " Cable Car " to reach the top where you can view the whole of Hatyai City. Many Buddha Statues are there for your praying but this Main Buddha: Luang Phor Tuad is the special one. Read the story there and enjoy your stroll.

Good View from the top. Be prepared 28 baht each ride up & down a slow & only tram that climbs for about 8+ minutes, just one stop away. Before you board, the cameramen would have already taken you pictures (you have to pay for these = so must decide later.) Meanwhile, Pay respect to Buddha & statues,,, if you... More

This attraction is well worth the visit. You can get to the top cheap 30 baht with an elevator ($1 USD) but if you are fit and healthy you can also use the stairs. At the top you can get the opportunity to see both Samila Sea and Songkhla City views. It provides the perfect place for taking photos of... More

There is a lot of history at this place. Refurbished during the reign of Rama IV, the famous "King & I " monarch, the hilltop is well worth visiting. The fit & healthy can use the stairs, otherwise there is a very inexpensive elevator. Besides the spectacular views of Songkhla, there are many monuments, each with a story to tell

My experience at Tang Kuan Hill can be summed up with one description - an impressive view of the city and sea. Unfortunately, the day was so scorching hot that it literally made it unbearable to stay outside enjoying the view for more than a few minutes. On the positive side, the place was nearly empty which made it easy... More
