The Museum is very limited in artifacts and things to see the best part of the visit are the views of the Volcano. I think that there are more opportunities to trek or bike trail on paths around the volcano.

The place provides a great view of the Mayon Volcano. It also offers ATV rides for the more adventurous type. The place is picturesque but if one would recall that an entire town was wiped out, it will leave you with a mixed feeling.

Offers a historical perspective of Cagsawa and Legazpi. Has a good view of Mayon volcano (could be wrapped in clouds on some days). Ask a photographer in the place to take some trick shots of you. Some unique things sold here e.g. pumice stone made...More

The weather was really good when I went here. I got to see the cone-shaped volcano. The people were really helpful with taking photos. It has lots of souvenir shops and you get a lot of discount when you buy a lot.

That was my question, though, once that I engaged a guide, I loved the outcome. I paid him 100 peso and he used my camera and took some amazing shots! Glad we stopped at the museum!

Finally got to see this ruin...real cool but very busy during the holidays. I feel sad that some really just climbed up on the tower when a lot of tour guides were telling them not to do it. Aside from possible accidents, they are also...More

Early morning would be the preferred time. To avoid the rush of tourists and the hot noon day sun. Coming from the gate of the entrance, the sun would be rising from behind, so less 'against the light' situations when... More
