Mount Mayon can be seen from different places around the city. We were lucky and had a clear view from Lignon Hill at dawn and the Boulevard for the sunset. The volcano is perfectly shaped and presents great foto opportunities. Definitely worth a visit!

First time to see a live volcano but disappointed I could not get as close as I would have l liked however it was in the interest of safety. There are various options to go including the off-road quad biking which was fun.

We were glad Mayon showed up perfectly upon our arrival. Best to take a great photo already when you see her because she sometimes hide behind clouds other parts of the day.
