Hunza valley is a very beautiful ❤️ valley in Gilgit Baltistan (Pakistan) just like a paradise on Earth. From Duiker peak it looks like a bowl shape valley . It has different colors in different seasons.
I suggest one should avoid in Monsoon (Rainy Season) from avoiding land sliding on KKH. Our Tour Operator and tour guide was excellent. He managed each & everything in a fantastic way.
If you are interested to visit Northern Areas of Pakistan and want to real enjoy contact on the above number.

If you want to explore Hunza valley in reality and detail then you should contact with Mr. Maqbool without any delay & hesitation. He will show you many hidden things even the locals don't know. We spent 1 & half week in Gilgit Baltistan the rest in whole Pakistan.
Our trip was memorable, fantastic and wonderful. We highly recommend!!!

Hunza Valley mountainous valley situated to the north of hunza river in Gilgit Baltistan is known as hunza valley the world Renowned hunza valley is a heaven for tourists..the capital of hunza is karimabad ,Prince Karim Agha khan is the spiritual head of shia ismaili community and Karimabad is named after him ,it is surrounded by three beautiful peaks Rakhaposhi,Diran and Ultar. Hunza valley is surrounded by some of the high peaks namely Rakhaposhi, Hunza peak, Darmyani peak, Ghenta sar, Ultar sar, Bojahagur Duanasir and Lady finger peak.
Hunza valley is perhaps one of the most beautiful and attractive areas in northern areas.this area boasts of some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Many of the highest mountains in the world are located in Hunza and Gilgit, the people are exotic and varied. Hunza is a paradise /heaven for tourists.

The state bordered the Gilgit Agency to the south and the former princely state of Nagar to the east Hunza was an independent principality for more than 900 years, until the British gained control of it and the neighbouring valley of Nagar between 1889 and 1892 through a military conquest. If you want to visit & explore Hunza Valley in detail then contact with "Pakistan Guided Tours" . Hunza valley is the most beautiful valley of Pakistan.

Hunza Valley is situated at an elevation of 2,438 meters and is one of the most exotic places in Pakistan. It is surrounded by several high peaks rise above 6,000m. Aliabad is a main & Business city in Hunza Valley with Banks, Hotels, Restaurant and Market. Another popular city of Hunza is Karimabad. Karimabad is a tourist place. All around the year there is a number of tourists visiting this area, particularly in the summer season. In that respect are both luxury and budget hotels in Karimabad. After visiting different hotels, we decided to stay at Hotel Blue Moon situated near the main market in Karimabad city. On the ground level are the shops and climbing some steps is the reception and food court of the hotel. Rooms start from the foremost floor. The hotel is at an awesome location, in front there is the beautiful valley of Hunza, with the view of Rakaposhi Mountain and behind is the snow covered mountains of the Ultar Sar Peak and Ladyfinger Peak.

Had a long standing dream to witness the beauty of Hunza & Allhamdollilah this dream come true at last. The road to Hunza was very difficult & risky but yet exciting. Even the bare mountains have their own charm. It was tiring but not boring, these mountains of changing patterns were amazingly attractive but once the KKH portion after Raikot Bridge starts, its actually the beginning of an unfolding beauty at every km ahead. The road side resturants provide fresh meals, having taste upto ultimate satisfaction of one's satiety. On reaching Hunza, you will forget the trouble you bore on the way to Hunza. The snow capped mountains, the lush green forests & trees along with twisting, turning & jumping frothy river provide is atreat to watch. From the grace of "Nanga Parbat" at the beginning till the 16000 ft high "Khunjarab Pass" in the end, its all beauty & the miracles of nature. The sunset at "Rakaposhi" is captivating, at the 10000 ft high "Eagle's Nests" one feel himself at the top of the world, it presents an amazing view, the "Hoper" & "Passu" glaciers are worth seeing, discover Borith lake after the most twisting trek, thrilling "Hussaini Bridge" is to test your courage. To Khunjarab Pass, its very exciting drive on Korakaram Highway. Khunjarab Pass, covered with snow, can never be forgotten. . " Naltar Valley" is another adventurous & extremely thrilling experience. People are courteous & humble. We have come back but Hunza, a heaven on earth, captured our hearts.

The Hunza valley is synonymous with fruit trees and ancient culture. Spring is the time for blooming of apricot and cherry and apple and for the associated fragrance.

If you’re looking for a comfortable, serene, memorable holiday with families and you have about a week time available, Hunza is your destination.
Fly with PIA or drive through Naran valley, cross Babusar & reach Gilgit. Hunza is just 1 and half hours from Gilgit and road is very good.
Hunza has everything... high mountains, comfortable accommodation (from Serena to paying guest at a local house), restaurants, greenery, fruit orchards, history, forts, buddhist remains, architecture, bit of adventure, culture, handicrafts & more.
Must visit the Baltit Fort, Eagle’s Nest for some great views & buy some souvenirs from small shops along route to Baltit fort. There are at least two near Eagle’s Nest as well.
From Hunza you can drive right up to Pak-China border (Khunjerab via Sost, Passu, Attabad) and road is great, but don’t forget to take an extra layer of clothes since its always windy and chilly there.

We spent 8 days in the Northern areas last July. A team of 14 expats visiting Pakistan, some for the first time. You've often heard people saying "heaven on earth". That's an understatement to say the least. We arranged a trekking trip from the UK and spent 8 days in this glorious part of the world famous for its breath taking beauty and magnificent mountains.
Hunza is a jewel in the crown. Sadly we only spent our last day in Hunza before leaving for Gilgit.
If you ever wish to visit this part of the world, make sure to arrange a longer stay as travelling time is enormous between destinations due to blocked roads etc.
Stay safe, always arrange your trip through a tour operator and let them arrange your trip for you.
We covered, Naraan, Fairy Meadows, Nanga Parbat base camp, Rakaposhi base camp, Hunza and Gilgit. 8 days are far too little for these epic places. You need at least 12 days to do justice and to really take in the views, enjoy the trekking and enjoy the local fruits and foods.
Don't take for granted the local water and always drink from mineral water bottles. I am sure their water is clean but we foreigners don't have the bacteria to deal with the fresh water available in the mountains. Better not to take chances.

Hi there ..... i need infos about north pakistan . Which is the best flight to gilgit , is it from lahore or islamabad ? Iam from indonesia. And are there any resttictions for foreigner to visit gilgit, ghizer, hunza and passu ? Any travel permit maybe , like it does at north india ? And last, is it possible to cycle alone (solo) there , or rent motorcycle ? Thks very much for any answers ....

Perjalanan Bahagia ke Pakistan. You will get flight to Gilgit from Islamabad. As till now there is no restriction on foreigner to travel to Gilgit-Baltistan, except if your own government has issue any kind of warning, you can ask this from your foreign office department before departure for example the UK and USA government has restricted the movement of there citizens in Pakistan, this information you can get from your foreign office department. For course you can cycle solo till the Khunjerab Pass (Pak-China border). Sorry for the delay reply as I was unable to check my mail in the last few days. In which season will you be visiting, so that I can guide you regarding the status of those places, as in winter these places are fully covered with snow.
