The hotel I stayed recommended this pagoda to view sunrise. I suspect it was because it was less than ten minutes away, and climbing it was relatively safe. I believe most, if not all, pagodas involve climbing. My driver took me to two others but...More

We heard that some of the more "hot spots" for sunrise and sunset can be a disappointing experience because the crowds of tourists can detract from the moment. So we opted foe Bulethi, which was a lovely choice. The sunrise here is really beautiful and...More

I found this Pagoda absolutely amazing. I loved this type, I thought this with the dirt roads around was stunning. Whilst exploring all the temples, sunrise and sunset it's worth renting the e-bikes as you see so much more. It costs around 7000 Kyat per...More

This is a temple that near the main road. However, it is a bit dangerous to climb after the earthquake in last year. Just be careful and enjoy the peaceful sunset.

You can climb this pagoda and you will have a great view on the valley! One of the best spots. The top has been damaged by the earthquake though, so that's a shame.

A stunning sunrise shared with around ten other people but completely worth it. The very was great and at the moment you can still climb. Don't forget your visitor card as they will move then likely ask for it. Enjoy!

I visited mid-day and was alone in the site. The view is nice, but if you're tall and have long feet you're going to feel unsafe climbing up, and more so, descending these stairs.

This temple also is one of the places to watch sunrise and dawn at Bagan but not as high as others. Many tourists come here too. Try once, still great!

Came here 2 days to watch sunrise. There is unnamed template near Bulethi that is the best place to watch sunrise with balloon in Bagan. Better than Shwesandaw.

Hello, The cultural ministry did announce that which brought howls of protest from local tourist operators so the edict was abolished. Personally I think it is disrespectful yet admit to climbing monuments in Bagan because... More
