This an impressive temple with a large golden stupa in Bagan. Get there by 10 am to beat the tourist crowds. It is smaller than the one in Yangon.

Another fine example of the quality of beautiful historic pagodas available to visit and enjoy in Bagan. Would definitely add this one to the must see list..

Must see temple in Bagan. Built in 11 tH century and restored recently, this temple has amazing views and lots of history. One of the very best Temples any where.

You cannot climb this Pagoda anymore because of the earthquake, but it doesn’t matter. This is a beautiful structure and beautiful scenery.

Didn't know what to expect when we visited the Shwesandaw Pagoda..... it was an amazing site and had a very spiritual,atmosphere. Be warned that your knees need to be fully covered or you will be asked to wear one of their sarongs.

It’s a great place to see sunset. From there one can see the most famous temples of Bagan ,such as Ananda,Thetbyinnyu,Dhamma Yangyi,and others.It is a must visit place at Bagan.
