The pagoda is pretty but not unique in any way. The views of the Ayerawaddy river is nice. I think this place can be avoided.

The temple is located next to a river bank, you can enjoy a horizonful of sandy river bank. there are shops next the river, and you can take a boat to cruise the river.

The pagoda itself is ok but nothing spectacular. Busy with locals and tourists. In Old Bagan with views of the river. But dirty floors, street sellers hassling tourists and not that amazing to look at. Can be missed if pressed for time.

Not worth a detour, but a relaxing setting in a very touristic place, mostly with locals for food and drinks.

Of all the sites visited this was the least interesting. In old Bagan on the river but very busy, noisy and lots of people selling boat trips (great place to go get a boat) and a small rather non-descript pays compared to all the others

Nothing really of interest here. A little dirty. Our sunset wasn't that great. Lots of people. Very average.

Said to be the oldest temple in Bagan (3rd c.), this pagoda has been rebuilt several and looks brand new. What sets it apart is its location with stunning views of the river. Locals flock here to enjoy the sunset for a lively evening.

The temple is beautiful but the best part is the location where is connected to the river. We really enjoy the river view and we spend time to take many photos at this place. It's very easy to get there. I would recommend you add...More
