The right name of this place is De Djawatan. The location is about 1 hour from Banyuwangi city. The entrance fee was cheap.

It should be a five stars spot if there is no shops and stalls with their colorful roof in the forest. They should place the shops and stalls outside the forest area.

This place was full of big trees, so that it was shady and comfortable to walk around this park. There’s a playground at the centre of this park, also a tree house as a photo spot.

I wouldn’t go out of my way, but if you’re passing (and it’s just off the highway) it’s a delightful spot to stop for an hour or so. Very pretty.

It's a beautiful place to visit, but it would be nicer if you come during the dry season and sunset time

This park is essentially an open land shrouded with humongous timberland tree. The top of the trees branch off various shapes in the sky, giving the entire park a surreal - 'Lord of the Rings' type of environment. It essentially a great place for taking instagram photos. Due to its growing popularity among the locals, i would recommend though that you visit earlier during the day or during weekdays so it wont get too crowded.

This location is covered by big old Trembesi trees which have been planted during Dutch colonial era. The location is owned by state-owned forestry company, and was a train station during Dutch colonial era. Walking under the shade of the trees provides an instagramable view. Overall, recommended for photo-spot only.

As the place has a lot of high trees, we simply just walked under the trees during our visit . It was around 12 pm and we still felt good : not really hot .

Not sure whether they have toilet or not.

There was also traditional javaneese drink ( jamu ) sold by women who bike her bicycle around the park.

It's a little bit difficult to detected the entrance of this place, I hope the sign would be much clearer.

From the moment you enter this you'll see huge trembesi trees, so majestic it feels like you're transferred to completely different places. It feels calm and peaceful too. There's a lot of photo spots. They provide a tractor that doesn't work, only for photo spot. Some swings and tree house/platform.

You can do several activities too, delman, zip lining, horse riding to name a few. It's quite peaceful. If I can suggest it's better to visit in the morning or late afternoon.

I found some ruins and some spots that are quite unattended. I think those need to be taken care of as it would distract from its beauty.
