Have you ever seen any well know architectural wonders in Europe? This is on top of all that ... I am moved and impressed to the core. I have spent 4 hours just looking at the stone carvings.

The temple is very old and ancient. It is very important to know about the history and mythology behind the temple. It is very interesting. The 12 lingas in the periphery of the temple should not be missed. One must not fail to meditate before the Jeeva Samadhi of Rishi Patanjali.

Only separate temple for Lord Brahma is situated near Tiruchy (just 25 kms away) and worth visiting and get the blessing of the Lord. One can enjoy the old stone sculpture and the temple is maintained clean.

The temple is famous for brahma . Main deity is lord siva as Brahmapureeswarar. Lord brahma had separate sannidhi which people comes and had practice of keeping astrology book(Jadagam) here with brahma for prayer. There is believe that if jadagam kept with brahma and prayed he will correct any wrong things in jadagam.

It is around 20 km from Trichy town - but very popular with locals - apparently wishes come true here !! The temple has a very pleasant garden out back so don't miss that.

Another of the beautiful temples in South India. This temple is unique in that it has the only shrine in the entire world for thanksgiving to the creator Brahma. Do remember to carry your horoscope and place it before the idol to seek His blessings to remove any obstacles in achieving the objectives that may be predicted in your horoscope.... More
