The Anasagar Baradari is an embankment on the southern edge of Anasagar Lake that was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan with Daulat Bagh Gardens by the lake as pleasure gardens. The garden is still there along with the marble pavillions on the waterfront. The place is very popular with the locals, especially families because of the serene and peaceful atmosphere by the lake and the gardens. I thought it was a nice place to relax after a lot of walking around the sites of Ajmer. It’s a pity that some people treat the garden area as a bin.

Recent renovation has completely changed the garden and since now they have started charging small entry fees to enter the gardens, there is very less nuisance there. The gate from Barahdari to Daulat baug has been closed as well.

There is also a proper running track (I think that's the first in Ajmer) and some designated placed where you can do yoga and kids can play. The fountain is pretty nice and the old temple in the middle of the garden now glows brighter than ever before. They also have free parking facility.

This is a place where you can go with your family and spend a couple of hours in the evening.

Daulat Bagh park is situated at south east corner of Ana Sagar Lake. The park is perfect to evening time with your family or friends. You can have a perfect sunset view from here. There are ferries also operated from here to reach to an island of Ana Sagar Lake, so you can enjoy the speed boat ride as well.
