Make sure your belongings are safe as the area is filled with dodgy people and touts. Also ensure that you don't eat anything anyone gives you, unless it's the offical deg.

Being a Hindu, I had some hesitation and little bit of fear, I don't know why. But my experience was very good. I offered Chaddar, which is a common ritual. God willing, I will visit again.

If you can't travel a distance of about 500 metres by walking, you have to take an auto or cycle rickshaw which takes you right upto the entrance to the Dargah. Inside the Dargah too you need to walk and take a few steps... More

Dargah open till 10 pm and there is no specific time to visit but in a day for 2 hour dargah sharif remain closed in some interval time like from 3 4 and from 5.30 to 6.30 you can visit dargah in mrng time dargah open at 5 am

Normally you will take train at night and reach Ajmer in the morning at 0900.You may either book a nearby hotel or go and keep your bag near the dargah. Then you go in the dargah. It will better if that day is a Friday. The... More
