It was a nice experience. The place was clean and not crowded. We went at morning time and experienced Qawalis being sung, which was an awesome experience.

Its commendable to see the place as a phenomenal piece of architecture with some great designs and patterns but sadly the commercialisation has taken over this place too as it has over other pilgrimages. There are too many people despite whatever the time it is which makes it absolutely unsafe for your valuable belongings. Too many people come in your... More

I am very emotional when ever I am here at the Dargah of Khawaja Garib Nawaz. It is very touching moment when the cloth from the Mazar which is called Chadar is put on the head and the pray is performed.

Dropped off by driver near entrance, leaving us a few hundred metres to walk through the muslin market street. Not the easiest walk as their were quite a few amputees, deformed bodies on the ground. With heads covered & shoes & socks in a bag we entered the mosque area. No problem with pushy guides etc. The outer area is... More

Good place to visit. It is a holy place frequented by locals and tourists. Just be careful of people trying to dupe you. There will so called Khadims, some other locals will try to help you, show you around. But finally they are trying to dupe you. Even inside of shrine, people openly ask you to put money. If you... We were warned of all the commercialism of this supposedly religious place; the chaos and crowds don't help. We got accosted by a very persistent and aggressive man who totally harassed us from the start. We told him very nicely that we just wanted to have a peaceful look around and take in the auspicious atmosphere in and to please... More

After that many riskshaws are around who may charge you upto 100 to reach the gate. The dargha is open 24 hours a day and beware of niy keeping any of your valuables with... More

Great spiritual place, but the crowds could be managed better.. also needs more facilities for women, children and elderly.. gets crowded on special & chatti days, so avoid those days if you can. Overall, a must visit place in Ajmer.
