Lost count at 15 animals! Incredible safari. Very knowledgable, helpful guide and cook. Really appreciated that they will pick you up at the airport, take you to your hotel, and pick you up from your hotel and take you back to the airport.

We highly recommend Popote African Adventures. When starting to look at companies for Kilimanjaro, what made Popote stand out from the rest was first that they were locally owned, and second that they provided fast and detailed responses to our questions. Sabino worked his way...More

Great service from the Popote team from communication before the climb to the service and support provided during the climb! Exactly how it should be and better than we initially expected!

I wish I could write a glowing review for Popote as our trip was absolutely wonderful until my fiance's health was compromised. His blood oxygen level dropped to 54 (one's blood oxygen should be hovering within the 90's) and our guides weren't transparent about what...More

Where to begin... we were beyond impressed with the attentiveness, professionalism, and support of our guide (Florian), assistant guide (Dulla), Cook (Chinga), and team of porters (Michael, Faranja, Eddsies, etc.), as well as the office team. The company was founded by Sabino, who himself started...More

Popote was by far the best decision we could have made for our trip to Tanzania. From day one we were picked up by Popote from the airport and met with our guide that evening prior to starting our hike up Mount Kilimanjaro. The entire...More

Popote is one of the smaller outfits to use to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. They are a great group of guys, especially the porters. I didn't much care for our main guide because he didn't ask about our experience and then just assumed we had none....More
