Few days back we looked for the tips on climbing Kilimanjaro. We then landed on Burigi Chato Safaris. We were sick worried about COVID19 the director explained that there was no problem in Tanzania after looking it up I concluded it was true. Geoffrey was very kind and honest about everything. He organized a memorable trek for us. We went to Tanzania and were able to summit the Kilimanjaro in less than a week. The people did not fear the COVID as there no one putting on masks and the truth is it is over in this country. We are thankful for the crew that took the risk of climbing with us since they truly had no way of making sure we are safe.

At one moment we were in the forest. The next we were exposed to limited vegetation then the desert and finally the snow and terrible coldness. My guide explained to me all the climates found on the mountain and indeed it is like moving from the equator to the north pole in a matter of days. I was glad with the details and the narration my guide provided. I learnt so much about the volcanic mountain. I was treated by a very efficient team because whenever I requested for something they were sharp to deliver. The tents were all set up every when I arrived at the camping site. This was an amazing experience for me. Thank you, Burigi Chato Safaris, for an amazing experience that you gave me.

The climb via Lemosho route was not an easy experience to forget. We started off from B=being picked up from our hotel. We had the office driver from Burigi Chato Safaris coming to our hotel. He then picked us up and took us to their office in town where the great team was already set up and finalizing some few things in town before we start going to the gate. We were supposed to finish our payments and give some personal details for the climb to start. After doing all this we were introduced to the guide who explained to us that we will do on the first day. We asked for the opportunity to go buy a Tanzanian flag and the office driver took us there with no extra charges. When we got back with the Tanzanian flag everyone was ready and the trip to the gate started. We arrived at the gate where we checked in and said our goodbyes to the director (Geoffrey) Who in spite of being busy at the hotel he saved part of his precious time to come with us to the gate. During the first day we trekked up the rain forest for about three hours. We saw Colobus monkeys. Along the way we stopped to eat the lunch that was packed. We then proceeded to big tree campsite where we found that the tents were already pinned to the ground and the chef almost done with dinner preparations. We took a bit of a walk around during the sunset and it was beautiful. All the following days were nicely prepared and had everything we wanted and wished that were present. Though for somethings it is better to arrange earlier – such things include the private toilet which you need to earlier inform the operator though we were lucky that when we requested for it, we were supplied with one on the second day. On the night of summit, you need to make sure your lamp works since it is very essential as the trek starts in the night. It was such a great tour, thank you.

I am feeling blissfully to witness and review my tour experience in Kilimanjaro Mountain. it wasn't the easiest thing to hike this Mountain, this was a hardest mountain to hike though it was my second hiking phrase.I got a problem during my hiking experience I vomited many times especially on the fourth day, though my guide was trying to make me feel comfortable .It was my dream to hike Kilimanjaro and and to summit and this came true,Burigi Chato Safaris as my tour organizer were hand by hand to make sure I summit .Basically and totally I really appreciate for your handle bliss care , making me chose the best route for hiking and finally your great hospitality since day one, this will be a memorable occasion in my life time adventure.

This was the best decision ever. Our journey to the roof of Africa was a success. The team was amazing bring us all the supplies we needed on the mountain. The Managing director was a very assuring person who helped us to plan our trek. The assistant guide walked with the climbers that were moving slowly. Others were led by the guide who walked fast and had a well good pace. Regarding the fill up of our bottles we took water from the streams nearby and they are said to be safe for drinking. But Immediately after climbing the Mountain asked for day tour in Materuni waterfall, there was very dense vegetation at Materuni water falls. This was a remarkable African Jungle experience. I was glad to join. The tree species were very many and very unique. There were very tall trees here. The water falls is very tall – the guide said it is about 70meters tall. For me the trekking route was really nice going to the top was nice especially when I looked back to see Moshi town. The water at the base of the falls allows people to swim. There are no dangerous fish or organisms.
