The shop owners are lovely people and they have great intentions. By supporting this shop you support local artists and also help with empowering women programs. They have a wide variety of gifts, so you will definitely find something you fancy. Great place to buy beautiful things with a beautiful idea behind it!

At first so friendly and helpful guys promising a good deal in the name of all African people that we would support by buying souvenirs bit in the end when we were paying they were wrapping our stuff and in hotel we saw that some things were missing. We were robbed. They use people’s suffering to mislead you in thinking they are good but in the end you sea how corrupt people can be. Sad, disappointed and please watch out

Hello Nikka, First and foremost, I want to extend my sincere apologies for the unfortunate experience you had. I'm genuinely sorry that you found yourself in such a situation. I wasn't sure what to expect but this was incredible, I went alone and met 3 lovely people who had also booked onto the trip, the place they took us was beautiful, a great view of kili and mt meru. We then went for food at the tour guides own home where they had cooked us a full traditional meal, this was some of the best food I've ever had.

It is a great shop with interesting local stuff that is reasonably priced. They can also do cloth tailoring and all manner of other things. Just ask. Also they can arrange tours, hikes etc which is what we did. When comparing on price, the tours were very competitive and as you can read below, they were fantastic!!!

The shop owner Pete is one of the nicest people who I have ever met. He actually orchestrated our honeymoon in Tanzania. We were put in contact with him before arriving in the country through a friend who recommended we contact him if we were going to Tanzania. He picked us up from the airport, organised our hike up Kilimanjaro which was great (Tarry Adventures and Safaris). The hike could not have been better. The hike team (guides, porters, cook) were amazing. The guides were very professional and helpful, the food was great and hearty for the climb and kindness from everyone like you would not believe. At one point i had some altitude sickness and one of the guys (Baracka) unlaced my boots to allow me to get into my sleeping bag because he could see I wasn’t feeling great. They were the best!

When we returned from the hike he then met up with us and drove us to Arusha to our hotel to then pick up the safari he had organised at our request. He had also called the hotel and told them we weee on our honeymoon so we arrived to fizz and rose petals on the bed. It was amazing. The safari was fantastic and took us to several national parks where we saw all of the big 5 animals. Once the safari was over he arranged out transport to the airport to get our flight to Zanzibar.

I can’t recommend this enough. It was amazing and Pete is the best. It was chatting with a friend who wanted so much for you to have a great time and enjoy his beautiful country.

This shop has everything you need from the heart of Tanzania. The quality and style of the gifts are one of the best and I got some beautiful paintings and postcards for a good price. The people that work at the shop are super friendly and all are open to some great chat. A must visit if in Mosh town.

A magical experience. We were picked up, taken to a spot with a wonderful view of Moshi and Kilimanjaro. There was beer, music and such a chilled atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting. It's a truly unforgettable experience. We were even dropped off at our accommodation afterwards too.

Absolutely loved our trip. It was really relaxed & a great way to experience the beautiful Tanzanian sunset. There wasn’t a bus but that was absolutely fine! We didn’t need it. It was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.
