Our Safari with Daniel and his driver/guide Devis was a truly incredible experience. Daniel, the owner and chief guide of Eastland Adventures took great care of us and made sure we had the best possible experience, from the moment we landed at JRO until our departure. It feels like he puts a lot of energy into his company, is self-critical and welcomes feedback on how to further improve and perfect his service. A huge shout out also to Devis, who is the true King of Safari. Devis was our driver throughout our 6-day safari and is simply the best guide you could ask for. He has an unbelievable ability to spot animals (while navigating safely the bumpy road). Thanks to him we managed to spot lions attempting to kill a giraffe (one of the most incredible things I've ever seen!) and, in another national park, a lioness chasing two cheetahs. I can not recommend Eastland Adventures enough if you want an uncomplicated and effortless, but memorable and incredible Safari!!!

This February I decided to visit Tanzania. I wanted to visit some people in Moshi and since it was my first time there, I wanted to see a bit of Tanzania. Daniel was recommended to me and so I asked him to help me organize a short trip. He recommended a trip to eastern coast to the city of Pangani. On the way back we went to Lushoto, the former germane city Wilhelmstal. The trip was planned for four days. In Pangani Daniel organized a visit to a sandbank a short way off the cost on a small local fishing boat. There we spend a great day of snorkelling and swimming. Lushoto is a great place in the mountains at around 1600 metres above sea-level. There are still some buildings built by the germans during colonialism. We stayed there for a day of hiking, nearby Lushoto is a beautiful waterfall we visited and a vantagepoint with an awesome view of the plains below. I thank Daniel for perfectly organizing the trip. He showed me some awesome places in Tanzania. It was a great trip.

In February 2020 I had a once in a lifetime African safari experience. From beginning to end the planning of my safari was made effortless with the help of Daniel. P The CEO of Eastland Adventures. From the moment who first corresponded to the day we met in February, Daniel has been there to answer every safari related question I asked. Big or small his customer service was excellent. I flew into Arusha Tanzania, the night before my 2 day 1 night safari started. My hotel accommodations pre and post safari were arranged by the company. My airport pick up as well. I would advise flying in 2 days before the safari, as it starts very early in the morning. I didn't give myself time to relax from jetlag before jumping right into the safari adventure. The guide Anderson was right on time and my adventure began the next morning at 7am. It was a 4hr drive to Tarangire National Park. The safari truck with well equipped and i felt safe the entire time. Anderson my guide was very knowledgeable about all of the wildlife. Often times pointing animals out that my eyes couldn't see right away. They had binoculars so I didn't have to bring my own and plenty of water. It get extremely hot in the truck even with the open roof. Pack a good hat, sunscreen, shades etc. Once you are in the park, you're in. We stayed about 5hrs or so. Driving down varying paths. The African landscape was breathtaking. My words don't do it justice but the pictures will. Day 2 started early at 6am. Another 2hr or so drive as we headed to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation. Completely different landscape than Tarangire NP but equally as beautiful!! I had the opportunity to visit the nomadic Maasi Tribe. For a small donation to the village, I spent 1hr visiting with Tribe elders and learning about the culture. My guide Anderson waited in the Safari jeep for me. Then it was Safari time. The first animal were saw were 3 lions. Amazing!!! Over the 2 days I saw zebras elephants gazelles giraffes lions impalas rhinos monkeys birds. All in all I would book another safari with Eastland Adventures. Weru Weru River Lodge was fantastic. The food was great. Never been to a lodge with so many life animals on site ( ducks, turtles, camels) Eastalnd also arranged for a day to Materuni Waterfall. The 45 minute hick to the falls was worth the views

I'm proud to say that I made it to the top of Kilimanjaro, Uruhu Peak, at 0602 on 9th Feb via a 7 day Lemosho route trek - but not without the help of 8 super-human individuals from Eastern Adventures. David (Head Guide), Nelson (Chef) and Porters: Yassin, Boniface, Naiman, Langaeli, Safiely and Prescus were all amazing. As a lone "tourist" on the climb they made me feel like part of the family instantly. David was with me every step of the way and we've become best friends, friends for life. Not only did he guide me, but did health checks, gave me briefings of the following day and explained about the flora and fauna en route. Nelson cooked outstanding meals - if he can prepare an amazing peppered steak, with chips and fresh veg on a single gas ring, on the side of a mountain, what could he achieve in a kitchen?? I was a little worried about booking directly with a Tanzanian company, even after reading the excellent TA reviews, but I was wrong. Daniel responded accurately and efficiently in a calm and caring manner to all my pre booking questions (and plenty afterwards!). If you're looking to book a climb up Kilmanjaro, don't look anywhere else. Thanks to my "Team Rams" for a truly sensational experience.
