Best to visit out of season. Lovely shallow beach with the Santos Train close by. You can take a stroll or just some sunbathing and a little swim in the ocean. Showers to rinse off afterwards are available

Even though we visited Santos beach during a winter month, it was quite an experience to walk along the beach and enjoy the cleanliness of this beach. We had a sunny day and relaxed under an umbrella to enjoy a picnic

Beach is easy accessible in close proximity of two restaurants. Makes for a good walk. Can get busy over weekends or public holidays

Santos is one of the best beaches in South Africa. Good weather from November to May. Smaller waves and gradual shoreline make for a great beach for families with small kids. A good spot for skim boarding.

I believe that is better if you rent a car and drive. It is a long way drive from Cape Town. You can rent a car for 10 usd a day.
