The complex gives a nice variety of things to see - the shell museum, the post office tree and the maritime museum - containing a model of Dias's ship - being the highlights.

I really liked the herb trail, with the possibility of blind people reading it. I think the plants need to be refreshed. The shell house was really nice.

I grew up in the George/Mossel Bay area and it was commonplace to go to the post boot and big tree. Now, you can only get there by paying to go through the museum. :-( The museum itself was frustrating - lots of interesting things...More

I personally found this to be a bit boring. There are some very interesting things such as the post office tree and replica ship but overall I was glad to get finished. The old buildings are nice.
