    Lovely visit
A wonderful trip, firstly boat ride to island with plenty hippo sightings and then island itself. When you arrive, hire a guide for 20$.adds a lot of value to your trip. It was so nice to walk with the animals.

Exploring the Natural Beauty of Naivasha Island Game Park
If you're looking for an adventure-filled day out, then the Naivasha Island Game Park is the perfect choice. Located in the southern part of Kenya, the park is a nature-lover's paradise. With plenty of wildlife and stunning scenery, this is one of the best places to go when you're in the area. The park is open all year round, with admission fees starting at $5 per person. There is also a variety of activities available, including game drives, boat rides, nature walks, bird watching, and more. The game park also offers a range of accommodation options, from camping to luxury lodges. The route to the park is relatively straightforward. From the nearby town of Naivasha, you will need to take the A104 road and then turn onto the B90 toward the park. Once you arrive, you can park your car and explore the park on foot or by car. The park has plenty of activities for all ages. You can take a game drive to spot some of the local wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests. You can also take a boat ride to explore the lake and observe hippos, crocodiles, and other wildlife.

    A Must-Do While in Kenya
This was suggested to us by our Masai Mara Safari guide and we were SO happy we did this. Our guide at the park was our favorite guide of our whole trip and we had such as pleasant hour walking with him up close and personal to the animals and learning more about them. We even got ~10' away from a newborn (11 days old!) zebra and its mother! Highly recommend - a very peaceful and unique activity.

Crescent Island walk is a good experience
Crescent island walk is a must do when you are in Naivasha. You can get very close to zebras , water bucks, impalas , Giraffes and many other animals . Basically it’s a walk, so you need good walking shoes, and it’s not tiring as weather is always on your side with lot of tree shades. I enjoyed every step of my walk and managed to take some nice pics also . The boat ride to Crescent island is also nice . It’s worth 30 USD. You are spending at the counter.

    Great walking safari
Excellent way to see animals up close: water buck, zebra, giraffe, impala. The guide will tell you the story about how they got there and how they wonder back and forth to the mainland. Great walking safari

    Wonderful place with passionate staff
We took the 10/15 min boat ride there and walked around seeing the giraffes, water bucks, antelopes, zebras et. The guide (Faith) was so knowledgeable, that me and my mother were in awe of her passion and the amount of information she gave us about the animals and surrounding area. This is a wonderful project and I think that we need more and more game parks where people who love wildlife and the environment can thrive.

    Walking Safari
We had the boat trip on our safari itinerary and not realising we could visit the island. At the last minute we decided we would enjoy a walk around to stretch our legs and enjoy the animals. During the boat trip we saw lots of hippos, water buck and plenty of birds, including a Fish Eagle. When we landed on the Island our guide was Issac. We were very lucky as Issac was not only a great wealth of information but also very handy with a phone and took some brilliant photos and videos of us with the animals. To see the zebra, giraffes, impalas, wildebeest so close was fantastic, and the added thrill of baby zebra and giraffes made it incredibly special. A very nice couple of hours spent on Lake Naivasha.

    See wildlife from on foot
We were with a tour group and had taken a lake tour with Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp. Our jon boats pulled up on the shore of Crescent Island, which is a privately owned game sanctuary. There was no dock there so we had to scramble out of the boats, but we were met by guides who helped us disembark and led our group around the island. There are no predators on the island, so they allow visitors to walk among the wildlife on foot (although of course don’t get too close!). We saw impala; defassa waterbuck; Burchell's zebra (subspecies of plains zebra); blue wildebeest; crowned plover; Maasai giraffe. Everybody was getting their photos made with grazing animals behind them. We spent about an hour and a half on the island.

We did a boat ride to the island and did a walk with a private guide. Was a great experience to come up close with the animals. Nice little mini museum as a nice touch to the experience.

Definitely a must-visit place while at Naivasha lake but also over-priced if you are a budget traveller (1100 kes for residents and $20 for non-residents) + you need to pay for a boat to get there which is around 3,000-3,500 kes

Wow! This has been our favorite animal sighting so far in Africa. Unlike driving so far is here you just walk across the small island and right past zebras, giraffes will the bees, and other animals almost close enough to touch them.
It was the highlight for my kids seeing wildebeests in their meeting dance right in front of us we post for pictures in front of several zebras as they were chilling on the grass we ran into a nice park. Ranger who told us everything that was going on in the park, about the animals and nature, like a free tour guide just for us for half an hour.

So much fun to walk freely with the animals around--zebra, waterbuck, wildebeest, gazelles and birds. There is a nice picnic area where one can sit and have lunch.
