It is quite a motorbike ride to get there and it is not like really awesome but it has a real African feeling which makes it worth a visit! Tilapia & Ugali and the lakeside restaurant tastes superb!!

Loved the place! We took a boat from Hippo Point, and Titus who owned tha boat showed us a lot of animal life, hippo and a lot of different birds together with big lizards. Dunga bay is a must if you are in Kisumu!

where do I start, is it the sweet fish i was served? A boat in Lake Victoria, the lovely Luo culture. I recall the fisherman who gave me a few fishing technique though i wasn't successful in catching one. A nice experience indeed .

Yes, you can take a taxi / can from the city of your hotel as its only a few kilometers away from the city centre. The place feels safe despite the huge crowds. Once you get there, you are met by a guide who accompanies you... More
