Our first ever Safari Trip. Stayed 3 nights at Kwara Camp. Excellent facilities and welcoming staff. The game drives were superb and we saw incredible wildlife in the most beautiful and unspoilt landscape. Highly recommended

The 1000th World Heritage Site, the area covers more than two million hectares of wetlands and seasonally flooded grasslands. The Moremi Game Reserve is part of the delta. It is an excellent place to take a mokoro ride, the edges of the boats but inches above the waterline, skillfully guided by boatmen. The game viewing is very good.

The 9-day 8-night Okavango Expeditions camping Safari, Kasane to Maun, with 2 nights in 4 different campsites, starting in Chobe, was a marvellous experience. Tour guides/drivers Paul & Ossi had superb fauna/flora, knowledge, binocular-grade eyesight &, seemingly a 6th sense on where to find elusive animals. The food was amazing, especially considering the prep. conditions and the team setting up and taking down the en-suite (bush style!) tents, with beds, were streamlined and speedy - an all-round excellent experience. Sitting under the star-studded sky, with lions grunting not far off, plus other animal communications during the night, just added to the experience.

We followed a pack of wild dogs on a kill and saw many other animals. We stayed at Duke's Camp which was amazing!

We explored the Okavango delta with Sanctuary Stanley's camp during the dry season (late May) and I have to say that the Okavango delta is one of the most beautiful areas I've ever seen in Africa. The amount of animals and the variety of animals that we saw...well, we've never seen that many before. And when the rains come and the entire area floods, the same animals are still there, but their habits/behaviors change accordingly. So we're longing to go back during the rainy season to see the entire area again...but completely new to us again. Definitely go here!!

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of an Intrepid trip. Have to say this surpassed my expectations. We were taken to the campsite in Mokoros by local villagers. Once there the campsite was set up for us.
We done bush walking where we were taught about the local wildlife. Right outside the camp site we had elephants and hippos. On the first night I was awoken by elephants passing through the camp!
We bathed in a natural pool right by our camp.
This was definitely the highlight of my 2-week trip.

We spend a good week on a safari starting from Maun, ending in Kasane / Victoria Falls and loved the Xakanax area in Okavango Delta most. We opted for a tailor-made tented safari through a company called "Sekanka Safari", which we can recommend to anybody looking for a small safari company to take their family on the safari of a life time. When looking at safaris we wanted to do it all: Okavango Delta, Chobe, Moreni, Savuti, Victoria Falls, under the assumption that the areas would be very different from each other. In reality they are not that different allthough we found the Xakanaxa area to be the most stunning of all. We were very lucky with the game sights we had there and perhaps that helps with our preference for that area. After those, the game ride in Chobe felt very average. I know that sounds very snobbish but after such an amazing start of our safari tour I guess we were spoiled ;-).

Amazing experience to spend 2 nights in the delta. No facilities in this untouched area.
The campsite was enough for a group, able to swim in the river (with no chemical used), had bush walks, studied tracks etc.
