We travelled there by kayak borrowed from our accommodation. This is a lovely river paddle which feels like traveling down the amazon river. So quiet. Water crystal clear, no rubbish. Lots of mangrove trees and other vegetation. Can also see fish and bulls feeding. Blue...More

We kayaked here from Turtle Bay Lodge, just lovely. Kids enjoyed the rope swings. Our 500 vatu entry was included in our kayak hire, otherwise you need to pay as you arrive. There is a gentleman at the counter, no change so make sure you...More

I loved this blue hole and have found my visit here more memorable than to Nanda although Nanda has more spectacular blue water than Matevulu. We rode our bikes to Matevulu from Barrier Beach Resort. It is about 9km each way and after you take...More

The blue hole itself is beautiful and refreshing, however the owners can improve it by cleaning up the place. Lots of leaf litter as well dead trees in the water. Yes, I realize this is nature, but having been to 2 other blue holes nearby...More

Definitely worth a visit. Beautiful location and you are able to hire kayaks to paddle down stream. Two great rope swings for lots of fun. Coat around $5 AUD to enter. No facilities there except a toilet.

Our family, including teens, loved visiting this blue hole. We hired a car but you can also hire a taxi to take you here. The East coast road is good, sealed bitumen road to drive on, and you turn left onto an old WW11 air...More

Better to go to Blue hole from Santo. When you get to Champagne Bay you will not want to go anywhere else for the day but there!!! 😎
