Even though there is a small charge to walk across and view the dam, it is well worth it to take a look at the surroundings and picture hos such a dam was built. The drive from Norma Jeane's Lakeside Cottages takes you through some...More

Other than the Great Zimbabwe monuments and Lake Mutirikwi, this is one of the most outstanding features. Got to see a herd of 10 rhinos amongst other wild animals. Great collection of winter blooms on aloes and orchids in the plain.

A large dam built for sugar cane irrigation in the lower veldt. You have to pay $2 to Water Sheriff - money is tight. Unfortunately the dam was 14% full so looked dry and desperate. The recreation park and the small chapel are worth the...More

Unfortunately the park does not have horses but there plenty of other activities to keep visitors busy. Like a cruises on the lake or a game drive through the game park.
