Obviously a very rich family inhabited this old and sprawling house, with its many staircases, balconies and rooms. A map of the house would have helped, but there was a shortage of information throughout.

A beautiful traditional house in Sidi Bou Said. Although it was a shame that the lady at the entrance was not interested at all to let you feel welcome, or helpful in directing or telling something about the place or it’s history.

This is one of the best places I have visited in Tunisia. You can see their history and architecture.

I felt this was worth the time and entrance fee to visit, whilst on a tour in Sidi Bou Saïd. It was good to see the inside of one of the traditional houses, albeit particularly rich one, in addition to exploring the streets.

This museum is rich with the Oriental Artifacts. In addition, the view of the seaside from this building is so relaxing.

This is well worth a visit. Its cheap and has nice views from the terrace. There is a toilet and a small shop. Little english is spoken but you get a little paper guide to assist you. Its easy to find.

Beautiful place, garden, view and I felt real calmness inside.. drink-ed mint tea and enjoyed. Definitely nice place to rest during the hot sunny day.

The old traditional house is highly appreciated and especially for families with children, it is spacious in the bottom bunk, and one can enjoy and sit as though it was a nice cafe and get a free traditional tea. Very nice staff.
