We drove all the little roads and explore all the little beaches along the coast. All the places was nice and clean and lots to see. Specially the wild flowers

Dip you toe into the cold sea, walk along the beach, black sand, sift through the sands looking for the elusive agates. take a braai (pits there).

What a wonderful day we had. The weather was just perfect and we spent hours walking on the beach and picking up agates and shells. Breathtaking view!

When I was visting Luederitz I went to Agate Beach. I was not impressed due to lots of garbage. It is not worth a visit. Be aware of broken glass bottles.

Always have difficulty getting there. The signboards are faded and sandblasted into indistinguishability. The beach sports a number of sheltered braai and picnic spots as well as toilets (which we didn't sample). The sand is actually a fine gravel consisting of different colours of agates...More

Despite this being described in the brochures as a fantastic beach, while the view was good, there was a huge amount of garbage around, the so-called barbecue sites were rusted up and unusable.
