I used hike-Venezuela.com for this trip combined with a Roraima trek, which I did back to back although you can book both trips separately. Superbly organised with all flights, hotel pickups and an excellent itinerary for the trip. Highly recommended.

Angel fall is the most emblematic fall in Venezuela. There are different ways to get there but we got there by curiara, a traditional canoe made by just one trunk of the tree called Laurel, a four-hour canoe trip upstream. The trip is middle hard but the beautiful landscapes compensate the effort. The sitting space is very small and if... More

From Canaima you take a little motorboat that takes you to an island in 20 minutes from there you have to walk through the island for about 30 minutes while the boat goes through the rapids. You meet again on the other side and navigate the river for about 3 hours, there you start to walk up to the place... More

I highly recommend hike-venezuela.com for all your Venezuela trip needs! I used them for a combo Angel Falls/Roraima trek. I shopped around with various tour operators and am really glad I chose them. Andreas was always very responsive with communication and great to work with. They can customize a trip for you based on what you want to see and... More

Fantastic views with a great little hike included. We slept in hammocks and awoke to a beautiful view of Salto Angel.

This national park is what so many people target to come to visit in Venezuela with the highlights being Canaima Lagoon and Angel Falls (the world's tallest falls at 979 metres). There are other places to visit for the discerning hiker, trekker as such. Fantasma Canyon, Kavak/Uruyen even add a few days and go by river to or from Kamarata... More

We also did a walk through the dschungel and enjoyed the great views unto the falls quiete close up. Stays in my... More

Nothing to say about Angel falls, it amazing! If you go through CCS, I strongly recommend join a tour from CCS including transfer guide at CCS. We used Osprey expedition and the did a excellent job. I met a guy who was asked money from a military guard with machine gun while walking from international arrival lobby to domestic check... More

This falls are the highest in the whole world. It's really the most amazing falls to visit while going to Canaima. The stay can be booked at waku lodge which is right in front of the salto el sapo. The trip to the angel falls can be done in a private airplane, helicopter and you can travel to the base... More

This was a wonderful experience. We stood under a part of it ,with the water coming down on us ,but only for a few seconds as it actually hurt with the power of it. We were at ground level and went in to the back of it through a cave. You had to be able to swim, although there was a... More
