Beautiful grounds and fun to see the canon fired, it's definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. Have a picnic and learn a little history.

Prior to visiting I don't recall hearing of this battle. There was a short informative movie plus exhibits in the visitors' center building. The park had a drive thru tour with 9 stops to get out and read information. There are also some hiking trails....More

My husband surprised me when he took me to this National park. I find it very rewarding .I love history . It is a must for everyone in my opinion.

This is a great place to visit. It takes a while for the history and the magnitude of what happened here to sink in. It's so important that we have these places to pay respects to those who passed before us.
