Good stop for Civil War buffs and others interested in history. Very informative visitors center and signage along the route. Close to the highway, so it’s an easy stop and a good place to stretch your legs.
I drove through the park in about 1.5 hours, taking my time to stop and get out at the various stops. There is a small visitor center where you can watch a film about the battle. There are also some displays.

Prior to visiting I don't recall hearing of this battle. There was a short informative movie plus exhibits in the visitors' center building. The park had a drive thru tour with 9 stops to get out and read information. There are also some hiking trails....More
