The visitor center and living history presentations are good. The road route through the battlefield sites is a good way to explore the area--for the historic battle and for finding birds. There could be a more detailed presentation of the context of this battle site.

Pea Ridge is one of about 20+ Civil War battlefields I've toured. When they say "most well preserved" this means there are limited markers/information on the tour. The visitor center was great and very informative, however, the driving tour is much like a drive through...More

We are not Civil War enthusiasts but decided to take the short drive from Bentonville to see the National Park. The visitors center is small but has a movie that explains the battle, then you drive through the park and stop at various times along...More

We really enjoyed viewing this Military Park. Although we had to skip the video in the welcome center (our yorkie was with us), I hear it's worth the time to sit and watch before your adventure through the Park!

Good stop for Civil War buffs and others interested in history. Very informative visitors center and signage along the route. Close to the highway, so it’s an easy stop and a good place to stretch your legs.

My father is a Ruddick descedant from the family who owned land at this location. I have a very strong connection to this park. Well worth a trip.

I drove through the park in about 1.5 hours, taking my time to stop and get out at the various stops. There is a small visitor center where you can watch a film about the battle. There are also some displays. The map presents clear...More
