Breathtaking 10.2km walk (one way) from El Chaltén to a beautiful lookout over the Fitz Roy, complete with glacier and Laguna de los Tres & Laguna Sucia. Walk starts off steep but then there are easier parts on plains, in forests and then it's worth...More

Breathtaking nature all along the path to the last kilometer to Laguna de los Tres. The last bit is very steep and challenging and really makes you feel like you have conquered yourself when you reach the top. Amazing!

We hiked up from Hosteria El Pilar to the viewpoint overlooking the glacier and lake below Fitz Roy. A stunning set of spires. The beech forest is interesting and unlike anything we'd seen.

Fitz Roy is amazing if "he" wants to come out and say hello. We were in l Chalten 4 days and got some great (and not great) views of this incredible and scenic massif.
