No cars, a few people, snow quickly melting, and a few workers getting the beach groomed for the summer rush! So peaceful at this time of the season with nothing open yet worth the time to relax here. How soon this will change!

I was born in Collingwood and lived most of my life in the beach. It’s a beautiful beach but it amazes me that it has not grown into a major tourist attraction. And cannot get a major hotel. Maybe one day it will. For now...More

Always make me happy to sit and listen to the waves especially in winter when it really windy. most times too cold for me to go out of car but is great none the less. Even better in summer.

Wasaga Beach is a fantastic place to come in summer, winter and in between. The Bay is continuously changing and there is always something to do. St. Loui's just opened and is a great place to eat.

What a great area to visit. We were there on a beautiful mid week-day in October, so pretty much had the place to ourselves. In the summer, it's a whole different story. Lots of shops and a historic site close by. BTW- ask any American...More

On our way to Collingwood, we decided to take a look at the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. There were few people, most of them were families, enjoying the park. Looks like this park is not very busy. It's free for the public to visit and...More

12km of free public beach... the longest white sand beach on freshwater on the planet, a large part of it on national park land... pay to park close to the beach or park for free farther away and walk
