About
Ullapool Market is a small market held every Saturday in the picturesque village of Ullapool. The market takes place in the centre of the village a short walk from the shore and ferry port and within reach of plenty of other places to shop, eat and drink. Ullapool Market traders are all from small, independent businesses in the local area and include professional Artists, Crafters, Food producers and suppliers. We welcome visitors and locals to come and browse the lovely range of products, whether to buy supplies of a favourite products, treat yourself, get a gift for a loved one or buy a fabulous piece for your home. We may be small, but we have a great selection of products.

This is a small market. The stalls are decent. I like the soap shop because the prices are pretty reasonable.

Ullapool is so small, but this venue will catch your eye as you walk around on foot. When I realized it was a market, I was hoping for interesting/unique items reflecting small-town Scotland.

Nope, it was mostly Indigenous-related crafts, focusing on wool clothing.

Perhaps this varies by week or month.

A few locals selling there produce. Nothing of interest to us but worth a visit if you are in Ullapool.

I always enjoy coming to this market. It's not big but it encapsulates the spirit of the area. Lots of things to see and buy made by locals. I particularly like the Button Bothy

Although small, this market is full of local food, and crafts, lovely bread from the Ullapool bakery, plus cakes. A local garden nursery selling really nice plants, wool and knitwear stall. I imagine not all the same stalls are present all the time.

I was expecting more than four or five stalls so was a bit disappointed by this market. However, the rest of ullapool is pretty great!

If you are on a diet then avoid the wonderful home made cake stall. If not then you'll be spoilt for choice.
There's also a good wool stall close by

A very small market, but the stalls have some quality to their products. We bought wool from one stall and homemade cake from the next. Nice opportunity to chat with the locals.

If you are in Ullapool on a Saturday make sure to visit the market at the bottom of Quay Street. When we visited there were 4 food stalls and 6 craft stalls. We bought delicious bread and cakes and some lovely smelling soap.
