We visited the gallery on a recent trip to the Scottish Borders area. There was a beautiful assortment of pieces, from pottery, to paintings, to prints, and to woodwork. We met the potter and painter and she gave us a demo. Such a wonderfully kind person.

Off the street and into the backyard you will find this beautifully appointed gallery which displays the work of the talented Kinsman-Blake family. You will receive a warm welcome and have the freedom to explore the work at your own pace. We have visited twice and each time have left with items to give as gifts and for our own pleasure. This time we bought lovely silver earrings by Robyn, a print we felt captured the atmosphere of Smailholm Tower, which we had just visited, and some lovely cards. Highly recommend a visit to this delightful gallery if you are anywhere in the area of Kelso.

Having heard lots about the gallery from friends I was keen to look around. Absolutely beautiful array of arts and crafts and of course The Pottery. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting the very talented team, most welcoming and helpful and very impressed with all the ranges. Well worth browsing round!

It was very interesting to visit this gallery and see the wonderful selection of pots in all shapes and sizes. Some excellent attractive pieces of well made pottery were for sale and its nice to know that they were all made on the premises by a talented potter. We were cheerfully greeted by a young lady and her friendly dog and then the owner who chatted about her pots and made us very welcome. A place to remember and go back to again when we are in Kelso.

Interesting gallery with variety of art work. Particularly loved the ceramics and drawings. We saw the sign on the road and it was worth the stop!

Well signposted gallery, on the road to Smailholm Tower. We visited late in the afternoon, were greeted by the owner and then left to browse on our own. The pottery and the pictures are beautiful. We couldn't resist and bought one or two of the cheaper items. Well worth a stop and browse. However, be aware that they don't take credit cards - just as well, or we could have spent a fortune!

Very welcoming reception at the gallery, particularly for my disabled wife who was offered a seat. We were informed about the items on display then left alone to browse and make a decision. Just the way we like it.

We visited the gallery in August as we saw a sign on the road. We both have an artistic side so popped in to see what it was like and it is a real delight. There are lots of items of pottery and paintings on display. And there are lots of much cheaper prints available as well. We bought a couple of bowls a mug and so cards...and a print of a watercolour and it was the same cost as our dinner out, very good value! Were glad we popped in and if you were looking for somewhere to visit where you can talk to the owner, Linda greeted us with a big smile and was very welcoming, and spend an hour chatting and browsing would really recommend visiting the gallery.

My partner and I stopped in and were greeted warmly by Linda who we chatted to about art and life in the Scottish boarders.
All members of this family run business are artistic and collectively displayed oil paintings, watercolours, pottery and ceramics, jewellery and illustrations.

We came away fully loaded with beautiful handmade goodies.

Highly recommend!
